Nancy Simpson, 
- one of six siblings.
- married for 65 years to her surviving husband, Eric.
- mother to two sons, David and Paul.
- grandmother to five grandsons and one granddaughter.


Brought up in a rural setting and farming community, her childhood and teenage years gave her a vital source of strength, vitality, and perspective on the importance of family and the wider community.


In her late 20's, Nancy moved from her native Yorkshire to the London area with her husband, when new work opportunities arose. She remained at the same house for the whole time, and so built up a life long set of friends in her local community as she first had her own family, and then became a grandmother. Despite spending the majority of her adult life near London, Nancy never forgot her family roots; spending nearly all her available vacations visiting family and friends in her native Yorkshire.


Nancy, was, therefore, never happier than when in the company of family and friends; and had a thirst for life beyond her years.


She is greatly missed by all family and friends that knew her.
